The Highland Bantam C team played great defense throughout the D2 tournament, allowing just three goals in four games. In the championship game, Highland out shot their opponent 30-12, but in the end it was St. Mary's Point that came out on top 1-0. Thanks to the players, coaches and fans for a great season.

The Highland Central Bantam B2 team completed a remarkable season by winning the District 2 championship. The team finished the regular season in first place, with a 14-1-1 district record, and swept two games in the District playoffs to claim the championship. Overall, the team compiled an amazing record of 39 wins against only 4 losses, with 5 ties – a .907 winning percentage! Great team defense led the way, as the team recorded 20 shutouts and gave up only 59 goals in 48 games (a 1.23 GAA). Congratulations to coaches Mark Prokop, Pat Auran and Chuck Nelson, and to the boys on a successful season!

THANK YOU, THANK YOU - HCHA families for participating in this year’s raffle. Your generous support and willingness to help our hockey association is sincerely appreciated!
Please note that all tickets had to be turned in by November 9th to be eligible for monthly and weekly drawings.
You can now buy a $20 punch card for the concession stand at Highland Arena. The card is kept in a file by the register. Any member of your family can buy items from the concession stand and use the punch card. It is a great way to make sure your kids can get a drink or a treat without having to carry around cash.
Dear Highland Central Association Families:
We realize that this is a tough time financially for many families, school has been underway for a couple of months now and they and every other organization is needing extra dollars and asking their members to help bridge financial gaps. We, as an association, find ourselves in a similar situation and need your help.
Every summer the HCHA Board votes on fees for the upcoming season. This decision is based on a projected number of players expected based on the previous years registration. For the third year in a row the board voted not to raise player fees in an effort to provide the best opportunity for all who wanted to play another season of hockey.
What we as a board could not foresee was the drop in player registrations that we have experienced this year. Fees were set and registration was open and well underway when it became clear that we were going to fall far short of registration expectations and the result has been a budget shortfall. The solution the board voted on was the raffle that you have been asked to participate in. It is being done this year in conjunction with the annual spruce tops fundraiser but was decided on for one year - it was not put in place with the idea that this was to be a long-term addition to our fundraising efforts.
We hope that this provides some clarity behind why the raffle was decided on and put in place. We also ask for your willingness to help us bridge this gap during these difficult few months. Thank you.
