Highland Central Hockey Association

HCHA is committed to the development of skills and teamwork which will create a solid foundation for our hockey players. As an association, we understand winning is important, and everyone from our coaches to the players and parents wants to win every game. But, we also try to remember that winning a game is not the ultimate goal of youth sports, or this organization, but a means to an end. That end is the development of player’s skills, their work ethic, and teamwork.

It’s no secret...improving one’s skills (at anything) simply takes COMMITMENT and HARD WORK!!! HCHA expects hard work by players at ALL skating levels (every time a player steps on the ice); a commitment by parents to have their player(s) at practices/games (and on time); a desire to be a contributing member of your team / teamwork; and a respect for all players, coaches, and officials.
